So, we have a winner for the inaugural Reading Roulette!

Life After Life by Kate Atkinson was the clear favourite and I would like to thank everyone who voted. I would particularly like to thank everyone for NOT voting for the Tom Wolfe, which I don’t really want to read (but will have to at some point!). It also looks like Life After Life will be the read that finally tips me into the 600’s which is pretty exciting for me!

I’ll be reading and reviewing Life After Life in October as well as continuing my participation in RIP IX. From past lives to freaky carnivals, possessed children to short nightmare -ish tales, it’s going to be one creepy month at the 746 headquarters!

Thanks again everyone, it’s been great fun. I’ll have to start planning your choices for November…..

I hope you’ll enjoy! I just read a review of this book a couple of days ago and she seemed to have enjoyed it. Hopefully, I’ll get to my copy soon.

Ooh, I look forward to hearing what you think about this book. It’s on my list and I will probably read it soon. Have you read any of her other books?

I’ve not read anything by Kate Atkinson, so I will be curious to see your review. For the record, I voted for the William Gibson novel

If I’m motivated enough maybe I’ll read along with you – it’s sitting on the top of my TR list as well! In fact I picked it up and read the first few pages just the other day but put it down in favor of another book…
