Reading Ireland Month Week 3 round-up!

This week was Short Story Week and I reviewed:

I also posted about some great short story collections to have come from Ireland in the last few years, a re-share of my post about Northern Ireland Slang for St Patrick’s Day and some collections that I am really looking forward to this year.

I also posted a Seamus Heaney poem for World Poetry Day and have decided to share a poem by an Irish poet every evening until the end of the month.

Once again you shared some great Reading Ireland Month related posts:

If you’ve posted something this week and it’s slipped through the net, do let me know in the comments and I’ll share.

This week my giveaway was for a copy of Being Various, signed by editor Lucy Caldwell and, thanks to my little helper, the winner is Fatma! Congratulations Fatma, I’ll send you a message on Twitter to get your details.

I’m continuing to add all your links to the Begorrathon Facebook page and you can check out my Instagram for my monthly reads and general bookish photos!

It’s a very difficult time at the moment for everyone but the support and friendship I have received from the book-blogging community in the last few weeks has been so heartening. The last week of Reading Ireland Month is ahead – it might be a slimmed down week, depending on how things go – but at this time, reading and blogging has been a very welcome distraction.

Thanks to you all for reading, commenting, sharing and generally being fantastic.

  1. It’s been another great week Cathy! I’m not sure I’ll get my Molly Keane post up in time next week as work is really hectic with all that’s going on, but I’ll try! Either way, I’m looking forward to the final week 🙂

  2. Thanks so much for the mention of my post.
I very much wanted to participate in Reading Ireland month this year, but I was away for half the month
and didn’t feel I should. Count me in for next year! ♥
